DETOUR, organized by the non-profit organization Hong Kong
Ambassadors of Design, was conceived in 2006 as Business of Design
Week's outreach programme. It consists of a series of events
incorporating the most original, bold and stimulating ideas from both
Hong Kong and across the globe, designer to capture the attention of
the public and celebrate the creative aspects of our city. DETOUR 2009
is set to spark thought-provoking dialogues from more than 40
satellite sites across town and from its anchor venue at the Former
Police Married Quarters on Hollywood Road (original site of Central
School) in Central.
