BODW 2026: Hong Kong-Switzerland Design Dialogue for the Future
Marking the official start of the Business of Design Week (BODW) 2026 programme, the Hong Kong Design Centre and the Consulate General of Switzerland in Hong Kong recently convened at the DX design hub to ignite a high-level, bilateral dialogue. This serves as a reciprocal exchange between a distinguished cohort of Swiss partners—along with renowned corporate brands and design representatives based in Hong Kong. While sharing the strategic visions for BODW 2026, the session provided a platform to learn how the Swiss community has successfully leveraged and embedded Swiss design excellence and creativity within the Hong Kong landscape.
This collaboration opens a new chapter in aligning our thriving design ecosystems, driving cross-cultural innovation, and inspiring a future of continuous, synchronised growth. Focused on BODW 2026, the citywide outreach initiative "DESIGN@HKG,"(formerly “BODW In the City”) and the future direction of the DX design hub, the dialogue successfully translated shared insights into a stronger, multi-dimensional connection.
This exchange laid a solid foundation for Switzerland to serve as the official year-round Partner Country for BODW 2026. By uniting our creative capital, we are positioning Hong Kong and Switzerland as definitive creative hubs that connect Eastern and Western perspectives, sparking transformative change for both business and society.
We sincerely thank the Swiss representatives for their participation and valuable insights. We look forward to co-creating a dynamic programme of content and experiences for BODW 2026.
Stay tuned for the latest updates on BODW 2026 as we shape the next era of design.
