For half a century, Sino Group has been Creating Better Lifescapes – to create a better life together, where the community thrives in harmony by embracing green living and wellness, by engaging with all and pursuing meaningful designs, and by seeking innovation while respecting heritage and culture. In commemoration of five decades of community building, Sino Group has partnered with the internationally acclaimed designer Paul Cocksedge to present Time Loop to the Kwun Tong community.

Installed at the entrance of Yue Man Square (YM²), the permanent, site-specific art piece is a mark of respect of Hong Kong’s history and its pace of life. Drawing inspirations from the neighbourhood, Time Loop celebrates Hong Kong’s unique vibe and energy as well as its ongoing transformation. The continuous loops, likened to the infinity symbol, convey an ongoing movement that embodies motion and progress. Sustainably sourced timber has been used, giving unique grain and texture to the art piece, epitomising Hong Kong’s multi-layered history and cityscape where heritage and modernity go hand in hand. It is also engraved with an ‘infinite’ poem in two languages, reflecting on the passage of time.

Time Loop epitomises Sino Group’s belief that art is for everyone. It is integral to the community – citizens can sit on it to get immersed in the installation and enjoy the views framed by the loops of life.
