Sanlorenzo at the Hong Kong International Boat Show

The Hong Kong International Boat Show takes place during towards the end of the year since 1982. The organiser endeavours to provide the best facilities and promotion services for the Show enabling it to become an on-going annual boating event.

This year, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific will showcase an exclusive line-up from Sanlorenzo and Bluegame, headlined by the Asia premieres of the Sanlorenzo SD90 and SL86A, along with the successful Bluegame model – BG62.

Sanlorenzo SD90 - Exceptional Volume and Versatility with Grace The new SD90 continues Sanlorenzo’s acclaimed SD series, offering a seamless blend of advanced sustainability, efficient engineering, and timeless design. Developed in collaboration with the acclaimed designers Zuccon International Project for the exterior and Patricia Urquiola for the interiors, the SD90 stands out for its balanced proportions, light-filled spaces, and modular configurations that allow owners to personalise living areas. With an optimised hull for reduced environmental impact, it exemplifies the brand’s pioneering approach to responsible yet sophisticated cruising.

Sanlorenzo SL86A – Asymmetry Perfected

The SL86A represents a fresh evolution in Sanlorenzo’s groundbreaking asymmetrical design. Featuring a single-side deck configuration, it maximises interior volume and enhances the continuity between interior and exterior spaces. This unique layout offers an uninterrupted connection to the sea, creating an open, fluid environment ideal for social living. Every detail on board—from the panoramic saloon to the custom finishes—reflects Sanlorenzo’s commitment to tailoring yachts to the lifestyle and preferences of each owner.

Bluegame Founder Luca Santella Joins as Guest of Honour

Adding to the occasion, Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific is delighted to welcome Luca Santella, Founder and Head of Product Strategy of Bluegame, on his official Asia visit. A leading innovator in yacht design, Luca has driven Bluegame’s distinctive approach to versatility and performance, while contributing to forward-looking developments across Sanlorenzo models. As part of the Sanlorenzo Group’s strategic leadership team, Luca plays a pivotal role in shaping design concepts that merge sustainability, functionality, and contemporary living at sea. A former Olympic sailor and architect by training, he combines deep nautical expertise with an artistic vision that continues to redefine modern yacht design. His presence underscores the Group’s strong commitment to the Asia-Pacific market.

Luca will also be attending the prestigious Business of Design Week (BODW) 2025 organised on 2-6 December by the Hong Kong Design Centre. As a keynote speaker on 3 December, he will share his insights on how a lifelong curiosity about the sea, combined with architectural discipline and a passion for innovation, has inspired Bluegame’s cutting-edge approach. Luca’s work reflects a commitment to pushing design boundaries while embracing sustainability and functionality, challenging traditional yacht categories with versatile, high-performance vessels.
