
Molteni is the leading independent industrial group in the high-end furniture sector with an Italian-made production. It includes three brands, Molteni&C (indoor and outdoor furniture, kitchens and bespoke furnishings), UniFor (workspace solutions) and Citterio (partition walls and office furniture).
Founded in 1934 as an artisan workshop by Angelo and Giuseppina Molteni, the company transformed its DNA in the 50s, inaugurating the successful era of industrial design. The Molteni Group has been enhancing the Gio Ponti archive since 2012 and inaugurated the Molteni Museum in 2015. In 2022 the Group completed a major enlargement of the Compound, opening the Molteni Pavilion.
In 2024, Molteni&C celebrates 90 years of innovation, design, industry, and corporate culture with the publication of Molteni Mondo. An Italian Design Story, the first monograph dedicated to the company's identity, history, and values.
In 2025, Molteni&C will open Palazzo Molteni on Via Manzoni 9, Milan;an Urban Pavilion designed by Vincent Van Duysen. This marks another step forward for the Group’s growth and internationalisation strategy and the beginning of a new path exploring design, its culture and dialogue with the city.
Today, the Molteni Group is present in over 100 countries, with more than 700 stores, 130 monobrand flagship stores, 1140 employees, 5 production sites and 12 commercial branches across 5 continents.

Molteni&C Furnishes A Private Villa, Suzhou
Suzhou Private Villa - Yan Hui Ping Men Li is a 960 sq m villa in Suzhou, China, adjacent to the historic residence of Ming artist Tang Yin. Designed by Z+H Renhai Design, it blends Italian contemporary interiors with traditional Eastern gardens, creating a harmonious cultural synthesis. Molteni&C contributed by supplying furniture, including the 505 UP system, D.154.2 armchair, and Augusto sofa by Vincent Van Duysen. The villa features multifunctional Marteen seating, the elegant Mateo table, and a variety of beds and storage solutions, showcasing a sophisticated ambience that inspires a culture of living well.
