Carolien Niebling

Carolien Niebling (b. 1984, Maastricht, the Netherlands) lives and works in Zurich, Switzerland. Using food as a medium, she works as a designer, researcher, consultant, teacher, strategist, and product developer on different kinds of projects that target a brighter future. She received a master’s degree in product design from École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL) in 2014. Her research resulted in the book The Sausage of the Future, released by Lars Müller Publishers in 2017. She has recently worked with institutions such as MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology), Louis Vuitton, Swissnex San Francisco, Swiss Embassy in Copenhagen, and ECAL.
