Garett Hwang is a Director of UNS, and a key leader of UNS Asia offices. Her experience spans across typologies and scales, often focusing on the integration and smart application of computation to benefit design, quality, and control of complex buildings systems. Since joining UNS in Shanghai in 2011, followed by her move in 2017 to manage the Hong Kong office, she has worked on many key projects in Asia, such as Raffles City in Hangzhou and WestK Performing Arts Centre and the Theatre at Central Yards in Hong Kong. Through her work, Garett focuses on ways to re-interpret spatial relationships and create hybrid programmatic interfaces that benefit the user experience.
