Jacky Chan

Jacky Chan is the Head of Play Environment Development at Playright Children’s Play Association. Leveraging his background as an Urban Designer, Jacky bridges spatial design and NGO advocacy to champion Children's Right to Play and advance the vision of a Playful City.

At Playright, he drives impact through both hard and soft urban interventions. On the "Hard" side (Play Space Design & Safety), he leads inclusive, community-participatory design and project delivery across flagship public spaces, including Cha Kwo Ling Promenade and Hong Kong's first adventure playground, Dream Together Playground. On the "Soft" side (Play in Community), he drives community engagement and empowerment, participatory place-making, and public policy advocacy. By combining spatial expertise with community empowerment, Jacky seamlessly embeds play into the city's everyday urban fabric.
