Prof. Dr Joseph Press

Prof. Dr Joseph Press, PhD, is a Futures Architect and design educator, Swiss and French, based in Zürich. Trained as a workplace architect, he completed his MIT doctorate in Design Technology. As founder of Deloitte Digital Switzerland, and with the Institute for the Future and the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies, he has guided Fortune 100 companies and impact-led organisations towards better futures. He is currently Vice Dean of Academics at the Shanghai University of Engineering Science School of Design, leading the integration of AI into design education and interdisciplinary innovation. His book Agentic Creative Intelligence publishes with Routledge, December 2026.
