PEDRALI S.p.A.

Pedrali is an Italian company that produces contemporary furniture for contract and residential markets. The industrially designed, functional and versatile collections are the result from a process that combines tradition, innovation and engineering excellence. Entirely developed in Italy, they are made of metal, plastic material, wood and upholstery, also in combination with each other.

The “100% Made in Italy” philosophy becomes real through the internal production in the Headquarters of Mornico al Serio (Bergamo), where the automated warehouse “Fili d’Erba” designed by Cino Zucchi-CZA Cino Zucchi Architetti is based, and through wooden manufacturing in Manzano (Udine), which in celebrates 20 years since its opening in 2025.

Pedrali's products result from a synergic collaboration with Italian and international designers who fully embrace its philosophy, enriching it with their precious contributions. This collaboration has led to important awards, such as the XXII Compasso d'Oro ADI for the Frida chair in 2011. Among the designers there are Patrick Jouin, Sebastian Herkner, Jorge Pensi Design Studio, Odo Fioravanti and Eugeni Quitllet.

Sustainability is a key value for Pedrali, expressed through responsible material choices, efficient production processes and a continuous commitment to reducing environmental impact. 2023 marked an important milestone for Pedrali: 60 years since the founding of the company that dates back to 1963. For the occasion, the Pedrali Pavilion was designed by AMDL CIRCLE and Michele De Lucchi to house the exhibition “Pedrali60, we design a better future” curated by Luca Molinari Studio. Pedrali Pavilion, in its second life, will become a permanent space with an auditorium to host events and talks, allowing designers, architects, students, and the future generations, to engage with the manufacturing industry.

Major Achievements:

In 2011 Pedrali won the 22nd ADI Compasso d’Oro, the oldest and most influential industrial design award in the world, with Frida chair by Odo Fioravanti for its “simple sculptural beauty”.
