Bygg Architecture & Design is the collaboration between two architects and two designers. Our journey began with the design and construction of Plug-in-City in Eindhoven’s Strijp-S. Working hand in hand with the local community, we brought to life a unique space that houses our office and our workshop, as well as a coffee bar, a radio station, an event area, and more. This dynamic hub in Strijp-S is where we call home.

Our portfolio is diverse. From public spaces and housing projects to exhibition designs and interiors for establishments like restaurants, cafes, and bars. Beyond this, our fervor delves into furniture and lighting design, always fueled by a spirit of experimentation.

In every project, we navigate spatial complexities with a design approach that’s rooted in dialogue—both with the environment and the communities we serve. The existing structures and elements around us often become primary sources of inspiration. We consistently consider the life cycles of our designs, ensuring that they can adapt to community shifts or find new purposes when required.

With a keen focus on sustainability, we look at second-hand materials as both invaluable assets and inspiration wellsprings. This philosophy resonates in our emphasis on circular solutions, modularity, and interchangeability. Our collaborative spirit not only connects us to a diverse network of professionals, from makers to researchers, and allow us to expand our team to tackle larger projects beyond the reach of our core group.
