Amy Ip is part of a growing cohort of female leaders who have transitioned from design careers to venture building. She has built her professional journey on a Design Thinking-led approach, shaping the research and development of digital products and services at Yahoo!, Microsoft, and Tencent. Later, she moved into consulting and spearheaded digital experience strategy programs at Fjord/Accenture Interactive, leading transformation initiatives for multinational corporations in sectors including banking, FMCG, and smart retail across Greater China.

Currently, Amy is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of CaaS, a digital innovation research and strategy consulting firm, and Co-Founder of Second Stage (secondstage.hk), a venture builder dedicated to nurturing scalable and sustainable social enterprises that create positive social impact.

In addition to her industry work, Amy is a Lecturer at City University of Hong Kong’s Master of Venture Creation programme, where she guides aspiring entrepreneurs in applying design thinking and innovation to venture building. She previously served as a Guest Lecturer at Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s MA in Service Design, extending her experience in design and innovation education. Alongside academia, she has delivered numerous training programmes across sectors, applying design, technology, and AI to drive customer-centric innovation, organizational transformation, and long-term impact.
