Stefano Carta Vasconcellos

Stefano Carta Vasconcellos is President of the Board of IED Spain and Deputy Academic Director of IED - Istituto Europeo di Design. He has held senior academic and strategic roles across Europe and Latin America, focusing on international partnerships, academic innovation, and institutional development. Before entering in IED, he worked as an independent product and interior designer, with award-winning projects showcased at major design fairs such as Salone del Mobile. His work continues to bridge strategic design education with real-world creative practice.
