The Adorned Body: French Fashion and Jewellery 1770–1910 from the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris

Opening in June, the first major special exhibition about fashion in France from the late 18th to the early 20th centuries will showcase over 300 stunning pieces of men and women’s costume, jewellery, and accessory, illustrating how fashion transformed the body in France during that period of time. Visitors will also gain insight into the global connections of French fashion through the designs and textiles, including Chinese silk.
