Penda China, a Beijing-based architectural firm known for incorporating nature-inspired concepts and traditional Chinese philosophies into their projects, draws inspiration from nature.  The firm’s founder, Sun Dayong, firmly believes that ‘Less is Love’ and acknowledges that nature has much to teach about counteracting excess and building more resourcefully.  By incorporating biomimicry and his philosophy of ‘Design with Love’ into the creative process, Sun strives to design beyond functionality, emphasising the shared humanity and the yearning for well-being in the post-pandemic world, thereby contributing to the future of our planet Earth while living in harmony with the environment.
